CBIT is a evidence-based treatment for children dealing with tics and Tourette Syndrome. We provide CBIT services with a referral from your child’s pediatrician. While CBIT requires dedication and practice, it proves effective in reducing tic frequency and intensity.

CBIT consists of three components:
- Training children to be more aware of tics and the urge to tic.
- Training children to perform a competing behavior when they feel the urge to tic
- Making changes to daily activities in ways that can be helpful in reducing tics
